Terms

Operated by [ENTITY], [ADDRESS]. Governed by the law of [JURISDICTION]. Questions: [SUPPORT_EMAIL].

Not legal advice, and to be reviewed by a lawyer before anyone is charged.

The agreement

Making an account means agreeing to this. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you are saying you are allowed to.

Your account

You need a working email address. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in method to yourself — and tell us at [SUPPORT_EMAIL] if you think somebody else has been in it.

One person, one account. Accounts are not to be shared; that is what inviting somebody to a workspace is for.

Your content is yours

You own what you write. We claim no ownership of your notes, checklists or files. You give us only the permission we need to actually run the service — storing your content, showing it back to you, and showing it to the people you have shared it with.

We do not use your content to train anything.

What you may not do

We may suspend an account that does these things. Where we reasonably can, we will say what happened and give you a chance to put it right first.

Plans, limits and payment

What each plan allows is set out on the pricing page, and the numbers there are read from the same records that enforce them.

Going over a limit never destroys anything. A workspace that passes its note limit becomes read-only: everything stays, everything still exports, and you can delete notes or move to a larger plan to carry on writing. We do not delete your work for being over a limit, on any plan, ever.

Paid plans, once billing is enabled. Charged in advance for the period you chose. Prices can change, but a price change applies to new subscriptions — if you are already paying, you keep the price you agreed to until you change plan yourself. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep the plan until then.

Refunds are handled case by case; write to [SUPPORT_EMAIL] and we will be reasonable.

Free accounts

The free plan is genuinely free and has no card attached. It exports in full like every other plan. We may change what the free plan includes, with notice.

Ending it

You can delete your account whenever you like. Export first — deleting a workspace deletes its contents.

We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or with [NOTICE_PERIOD] notice if we stop offering the service. If we stop offering it, you will have time to export before anything is removed.

Availability

We try hard to keep this running and we do not promise it never breaks. There is no uptime guarantee on any plan. Planned work that will interrupt the service is announced beforehand where we can.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, [ENTITY] is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the [LIABILITY_PERIOD] before the claim.

None of this limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited, and consumer rights where you live are unaffected.

Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The export button is there for exactly this.

Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes are announced by email before they take effect, and continuing to use the service afterwards is how you accept them.
